...is a day we feel and think so many things
...is a day when we all see it happening, again, in our minds and all around us, and feel it, heavy, in our hearts
...most of us will have to dry our eyes a few times
...we will be a little quieter, a bit more careful to be kind, and hug the ones we love tighter
...the memories of the brave and selfless will remind us that the every day man is capable of amazing acts of heroism
...prayers will be lifted in many traditions for all the families, for all the fallen, for all the survivors
...we will wonder how one world can create people that are so heroic, and others that still believe in ideas that foster hatred and crave innocent blood
...our thoughts will drift to those who continue to make sacrifices to protect us, each and every day, and we will hold them there
...the television will replay the scene and we will know we are not untouchable
...our American hearts will feel pride at our strength
...we all will hope for a better tomorrow.
