Seeing is believing,
or that's what they say,
so then why do I look at myself,
and want it to go away?
I wish that I was perfect,
so that everyone could see,
that everyone is different,
despite what they want to be.
All the models in the magazines,
and all the labels in the store,
is this what we're all about?
Is this what we adore?
Perfection isn't something
that you can just acquire,
even though that may just be,
your hearts greatest desire!
Someone can believe that they're pitiful,
because they think they're ugly and fat,
but others think they're ridicolus,
for thinking something like that.
Although no one is perfect,
as hard as it is to believe,
everyone possesses something,
in which others can envy.
