[October 14] Finally In Pewter!
FINALLY GOT OUT OF VIRIDIAN FOREST!
Everyone was telling me how to beware of Weedles and Poison Sting, beware of Caterpie and String Shot, but no one warned me about the most dangerous thing - HOW NOT TO GET LOST! Got no idea how everyone else made their way out of the forest. I seriously thought I was going to spend the rest of my life in there! Every path looked exactly the same and no matter which one I took, I always ended back at the same stupid giant tree. I thought I'd spend about 3 days in there but ended up spending almost double that!
I guess the bright side is all the training my Pokemon got. For the record, the bug Pokemon weren't really all that bad, Charmander's really gotten the hang of Ember. Got tons of practice on what Yukimura taught me about catching Pokemon and Cottonee is the best at it with her Stun Spore!
I should've caught that Pidgey before going into the forest but I decided not to because Professor Yanagi said that Pidgeys would make a nest of my hair because it probably could've helped find a way out of the tree maze. I tried to climb the giant tree to see if I could see further from higher ground, but all the Kakuna and Metapod weren't very happy about me stepping all over their tree. So I get tackled off a good few meters, which is why I'm covered in all these scratches and bruises. Afterwards, Cottonee seemed to realize what I was doing and tried to ride the wind to get up in the sky. I think she probably wanted to find a way out of the forest for me. Luckily I grabbed her before the wind took her away, the last thing I needed is for my Pokemon to get blown away.
At least I'm in Pewter now. Finally. Actually got in early yesterday by sheer luck thanks to Nidoran leading the way. But Pewter Gym, here I come~ ♪
