the weekend so far
Well... thanksgiving weekend has been awesome for me thus far. But let's start with thursday. Thanksgiving was pretty good, my grandmother was over at around 6:00 am... cooking like she is every year. I just lazed around the house all day, nothing really exciting. Around 5:30 my aunt came over, and we all sat down to dinner 'round 6:00. It was your average run of the mill thanksgiving dinner, just me, my mom, my dad, my brother, my grandmother, and my aunt vallerie. Nothing too exciting, although me and my aunt were making fun of my brother because he had to get up and get ready to go to work at 5:30 the next morning =P. Friday was AWESOME =D. First, i got my new mini iPod to replace the old one (for those of you who don't know... my old iPod got stolen right out of my P.E. locker along with all the money that was in my wallet that day). I like this one a lot better than the old one, and what's better is that it's green =D... my fav color =). Then, i went to go see "Spongebob: The Movie" with cilla at 1:15. It wasn't what i was expecting, but it was pretty funny =). Overall i had a great time spending that part of the day w/ cilla =)... as i always do when she's around =D. Later that day, around 4:30ish SoZo came over, and we started setting up for band practice. Johnnie didn't get there till round 5:30 though... but once he did, damn we sounded great. We're almost done with our first real track... we're gonna try and finish it next practice, and then record it... solos and all... in the coming weeks, and try and find a vocalist (hopefully one who doubles as a keyboardist) =D. Damn 4 hour practice left me TIRED as HELL. Like i said, Friday kicked ASS. As for what's upcoming for the remaining two days in this weekend: i'm planning to go to FFA today round 3 and meet a friend there... then maybe go to Ash's place for "Festival Night" tonight =P. If all goes well it should be pretty fun. However, if all else falls through, it wouldn't matter, because i'd still have sunday =D, and on sunday, cilla is coming over =D. Yep, it's been a great weekend so far, and looks to be even better =). Stay tuned, kiddies =P.
