This is the first weekend in 10 weeks where the sun is shinning. Oh my goodness but I feel refreshed. I'm going to mow the lawn....get some fuchsias for the hanging pots in front of the house....perhaps hit some garage sales.... I'm sitting at my dining room table with sunglasses on while typing. (See below why the computer is on the dining room table.) I look cool. :)

One amazing thing about today is that my husband is stopping by a garage sale this morning to check out a patio furniture set. He HATES garage sales. This is how much he loves me. He has the station wagon and my VW bug just isn't right to take to garage sales. He is a good man.

We have a neighborhood cat that is adopting us. We have not fed it but we give it lots of love and it just will not leave our house. Her house is down the street so I hope she is still going home for food. If Any was not allergic then I'd invite her in to stay for a bit. :) She seems to be here 24 hours a day. I wonder how long it will take before I break down and put food out for her. I really shouldn't, should I?

We have quiet a bit to do in the house. Some unpacking that is dependent on getting the office finished which is dependent on this and other things that are dependent on that. I can't use the dining room as a dining room since all the office equipment is on it and I can't use the garage as all the office furniture is in it. Andy wants to refinish all the furniture before it can move on up.

Another good thing about Andy is that he is a "finish a job before heading to another job" kind of a guy. This is good but frustrating a I am a "lets do it all at one time and start all sorts of projects" gal. I do appreciate his ability to do a good job and do it right but man...sometimes I just want it done quick. I have learned that I'd rather have it done right even if I have to sigh a few times.

UPDATE: Patio furniture was junk. We are still looking!
