The Day After.
Well, I am back. My great aunt passed away on Friday morning so I went home to be with my family. Hospice got called in Thu night and she quickly passed on Friday morning. She was my grandma's brother's wife- she was 90! She will be missed. It was an exhausting weekend. Sunday we spent 4 hours at the funeral home for visitation. It was a long day! My great aunt Dede said the coolest thing though after visitation when we were all leaving- we have the best family- I just thought the world of that!
I left today right after the funeral. I didn't feel the need to go to the cemetary or to the luncheon at the church- so I left right afterwards. The only time I almost lost it was when leaving the funeral. My g-ma was at the casket and I went up to give her a hug and I teared up. She is the BEST and she is getting old- so it makes me sad. She is someone who I want to live forever- she is the GREATEST!!!!
Aunt Geralidine will be missed!
(We partied at night at g-ma's. Us kids played cards and in two nights we finished 2 cases of beer and started another. It was FUN!!!! You all now how much I like my beer!)
Tomorrow will be spent cleaning and MOVING.
