Sea Prince & Fire Child is Such a nice film. I hope lots of people buy it. Remember my review about it last summer?Is this my year for obscure-anime-that-only-I like-comes to dvd or what??!! Now all we need now is some distributor to license Patalliro and my life would be complete!! ^___^
Finally finished Kanon 2006 on Sunday night. The last disc was really addicting. I only wanted to watch maybe 2 episodes at most, but each one kept leaving at a cliff hanger so I had to watch more! Over all A+++ show. Would watch again. More than likely will be watching the last episode again...and again due to everything finally revealing itself and I wasn't understanding since everything came at you all at once. Most people call this show "Sad girls in snow". I would call it "Ghosts of girlfriends past". Yuiichi is such a douche bag through out the whole show. He just doesn't have a clue how to treat the womans. He somehow had some redeeming qualities at the end....more than I can say about Kei from Please Teacher. lol The girls in Kanon is what makes it awesome, so if you embrace their characters there shall be lots of entertaining moments. The show IMO has a really great mix of warm hearted & sentimental moments with moments of comedy. Highly recommend the 2006 series! I watched an episode of the 2002 version and was very distracted by how poorly the art was drawn. The unproportional faces did me in. The 2006 is nothing but exceptional art that was worth watching even just for that aspect! Go check it out!
Discovered today that somehow I missed the last episode of Kodomo No Jikan Nigakki last summer. This being that they labeled them in such a confusing way. The first episode released was a special OVA, and is not considered the actual first episode (which I always did) When I would see episode 3 come up on the search, I would always think it was the athletic festival episode, but was really the episode I was missing..So the second released is episode 1 www.animenewsnetwork.com/encyclopedia/anime.php After watching it tonight, I can say now that I've seen all that has been animated! YAY! It was great!! Especially because Reiji had some screen time. <3 <3 <3 Rumor has it that another OVA series is to be in the works! I can't wait!!
Lastly, I can't help but notice that Gaga's new hair do is just like mine!! I told everyone that bouffants are always in style! ^___~ Maybe Gaga is cosplaying me instead of the other way around!? j/k LOL
