what's new? well i went to the cactus thursday night. that was pretty fun, aside from the inhalation of cigarette smoke. ah well, maybe one day our fine state will pass a law against smoking in public places...then again probably not since indiana is fat and unhealthy. apparently i was in rare form back at home after the cactus...i don't remember being as hyper as i apparently was. i swear i should be a comedian when i'm drunk.
friday was a bad day in general, i think you can figure it out why from what I did thursday. do not, i repeat, do not, have two long islands at the cactus if you are a lightweight, like myself. enough said. friday night i watched a bunch of people do power hour and be drunk fools. not a bad time really.
saturday got pizza with paul and mandi, then met up with jason and went bowling at the union. came back and had some beverages and put together paul's gingerbread house. the gazebo on the porch is collapsing, so i'll just say i was going for the dilapidated farmhouse look.
i feel like a bum for not doing more this weekend schoolwise, but i don't have all that much to do. i am all set until finals besides my anthropology paper. i'm going to write an ethnography of the cactus. should be quality.
tonight i have a new senior staff meeting at the exponent, then the last graphics desk meeting of the semester. which means the next one will be with me as the graphics editor. scary. i have a feeling its going to be more work than i anticiated originally, but i guess it's what i want to make of it. we'll see... if its awesome, i have one whole semester of goodness; if its not so fun, i only have one semester of it. i didn't even realize til yesterday that my name was in the paper on thursday, there was a little column listing the new senior staff. so that's kinda cool, although i don't think any of my friends read it anyway.
oh yeah, so while i'm on that subject, you people need to actually read the paper next semester so you can admire my work. honestly...
ok i'm out for now, have a good one :)
