the end is near! only a week and a half til graduation. i completed two finals on Monday, one stupidly easy, one stupidly hard. after polisci on thurs, i'll be all done!

this leaves me with the daunting task of packing my apt. i've lived here for two years and in this time i have managed to accumulate enough utter crap to fill a dump truck or some similar vehicle. most of it is stuff that falls in that gray area...to keep or not to keep. the item has some sentimental value, but will it ever be looked at again? pictures, ticket stubs, greeting cards, random scraps of paper...all in stacks around my desk. and don't worry, my suitcase is still out and still has random remnants of spring break in it. tonight i unloaded a laundry basket of clothes i washed two weeks ago. the piles of clothes and papers are suffocating me. i get half way through clearing them and i lose all motivation for the task. the obvious solution is to get boxes and put the piles in the boxes and put the lids on the boxes and promptly tape them shut. this way i can throw the things out later that i don't have the strength to dispose of now. haha. in all seriousness though, i think i'll probably have a whole box of random college memory stuff. that's ok though, i think i can deal with that. (jason is reading this and going oh crap that box is going to be cluttering our closets for the rest of our lives)

i'm making my own graduation announcements, and it seems like a really cool idea until you start constructing them. I got 12 done yesterday and quit. so only 8 more to go... good thing the list of people to send to is short because cutting the cards, and the vellum outside cards and the ribbon, then punching holes in the cards and putting the ribbon through the holes is a long process!

i went shopping today and got one outfit for one of the graduations. i'll probably scrounge up something from what i already have for the other. i think i'll wear whatever i think is cutest for jason's since it won't be covered by the gown. and i'll be meeting the future father in law for the first time, not that father in laws care about your cute new skirt, but its the principle of it.

that's it for now. good luck on finals all! i'll be over here crossing my fingers for ya!
