Things are really good right now. It's Friday so I got to do interview tests with my 3rd years, which I really enjoy. The kids have to read part of a dialogue with me and I grade them on their pronunciation and stuff. This week the dialogue was about this poor guy John who was just a hot mess. He ate too much pizza so his stomach hurt, and if that weren't bad enough, he "fell down the stairs on his way to the bathroom" For some reason, this line kept making me crack up.
I'm getting really excited about coming home for Christmas. I just finished making all my travel arrangements which is quite a relief. Watch out America, here I come! I can't wait to see everyone and to have Good Times aplenty.
I'm going to be in a musical tomorrow? Whaat, is this really happening? So I'm in a gospel choir here in K-yama and one of the members of our group is directing a musical and needed people to sing in the chorus. It's all in Japanese, so I don't really know what it's about except that there's a song called "The Water is Magic." Awesome.
