1. Leave me a casual comment of no particular significance, like a lyric to your current favorite song, or your favorite kind of sandwich, maybe your favorite game. Any remark, meaningless or not.
2. I will respond by asking you five personal questions so I can get to know you better.
3. Update your LJ with the answers to the questions.
4. Include this explanation and offer to ask someone else in your own post.
5. When others respond with a desultory comment, you will ask them five questions.
1. Do you think boys or girls in general are better kissers?
haha uhhhh, I kinda like how guys are more forceful? I dunno...
2. Tell me about a weird tradition or quirk about your family.
We only have 2 traditions in our family. Every Christmas morning we open our presents and go out to breakfast at the only place nearby that's open. And every year on the anniversary of my mom's death we go to Sandy Hook and dip our feet in the ocean and light sparklers and drink champagne and reminisce. I really have no idea why we do this, but I really like that we do it.
3. If you could suddenly have one talent beamed directly into your body (something humanly possible, not a super power), what would it be?
I would either want perfect pitch, or I'd want to be able to draw really well.
4. Who was your favorite teacher and why?
My journalism teacher in high school, Ms. O'Donnell was pretty much awesome. She was the only teacher who gave me really practical advice back then, and she was super there for my when my mom died. She was a really good listener, I could talk to her about almost everything. She really liked me and that made me feel special.
5. Tell me your whole singing career. When you first started, how you got into it, any groups you've been in (chorale, AOTA, etc)
I started getting interested in singing because my mom always sang- she was in church choirs when she was little and she was in a jazz band before I was born. I was always really shy singing in front of her cuz she was really really good and she'd always try and give me tips and I'd get all flustered. I sang in my 7th grade choir for a year, and then I wasn't in an actual singing group again until college haha! I used to sing at my high school's open mic night with Sarah Anne and I was part of the Music Honor Society's cabaret thing my senior year (I was in the Cell Block Tango). My freshman year of college I joined Chorale, sophomore year I got into AOTA and I was in Pan Af Choir for about 5 seconds last year. And I also sing back-up to the lovely Stephanie Patent in our awesometastic band called Jam Sandwich haha.
In other news, the Senior Switch concert is this SUNDAY at 8 PM in the SPACE!!! People should be there cuz it's gonna be awesome. We all *might* sass the living crap out of everyone, just sayin'.
I really like how Mandy and I are the same person sometimes. Mad Crazy Rep!
