an explanation of things to come
All right ladies and Jon. Here's the dealio. I'm leaving the country tomorrow. Not forever - just two weeks. But during that time I'm 99% sure that I won't have a lot of time to check lj, and it's going to be a bitch to check/post during the limited time i'll have during my internet cafe usage.
Also - sorry this post won't be/isn't longer. I've got (all) my packing to do, and I'm waking up at 5 am (sweet baby jesus) to be in line to vote before 6 am when the polls open. Hopefully this will help me to sleep on the plane, and if everything is right with the world, then I'll get to hear good news in the air. Around say...10pm when the California polls close and a certain someone goes over the top. And (*fingers crossed*) I'll get to vote for a winner since va is surprisingly and amazingly one of the places that count.
In lieu of anything else, I'll send you here, because this post made me cry a little. i love love love NC, but dudes...virginia. *sigh*
