Olympic Thoughts
Despite the fact that it's a team made up entirely of NBA types, it seems to me that I'm going to like Olympic basketball better than NBA basketball. It appears that the 3-point line is closer in (like NCAA), and perhaps it moves a little faster, or else I don't watch enough of the pros (not that I need/want to - I don't need something else ot be sucked into).
Also - Coach K is forced to sit and shut up for the entire game. HURRAH! And we beat China 101-70
I thought about staying up v. late last night to watch the rowing event, because a guy i went to high school with rows in the mens quad sculls. Then I thought better of it, because I would have been up until 4:30, and went to sleep, then watched the video online an hour ago. Because there's no commentary, I have no idea what's happening, but I'm pretty sure they qualified for the next round.
Men's gymnastics is redonk. Have you seen their arms? It makes me want to cry, they're so muscle-y.
