i just ate a very large quantity of fresh mozarella, smothered in pesto with some grated cheese mixed into it. yum. of course, it means i'll spend the first few hours of my 25th year slightly gassy, but whatevs. it was totally worth it.
watching the final season of the west wing. i can't believe this show ended. i know people said it got worse towards the end, but i really like it. a LOT. I'm glad i'm going to finish watching it, because it was always one of those shows that i knew i would like if i ever had a chance to watch it, and look how true. ah, bradley whitford - who can explain my crush on you?
today i saw an ad for a great looking apartment on craigslist. so i sent an email to the manager and had my mom call since i feel weird about making personal calls at work (but feel no qualms about forcing my mother to do the same). apparently, apartments in this building go fast, so we made an appointment for 2:30 today, but as it turned out, we were the second people to see the place, and first girl to see it, got it. boo-hiss. i used comp time to see you, beautiful apartment that i cannot have which had an adorable pug in a crate in it. ah well - i've got an appointment with our family friend the real-estate agent, and we'll see what she can find me in the way of affordable 1 br/studios in the area i want.
