dudes, it is monday and i'm a little drunk?
first off: my tonic water froze in our fridge, and hence, my pomegranate vodka tonic is only pomegranate vodka. which makes for a very strong drink when it's half and half. and makes for me to be feeling good. :) hurrah for federal holidays!!!
you know what makes me a retard recently? i'm addicted to old episodes of "the amazing race". Don't laugh (at least not too hard). I'm watching it partly because my sister and one of her nursing friends want to go on it, and partly because...it's kind of awesome? i know. i'm pathetic.
things that i am looking forward this weekend: Jason Isbell concert with
quicknow! Truefax: I may have snagged some music from one or more of you of his/his old bands...and not listened to it yet? don't worry - i have until friday. also - a may-be date with a guy? my friends and i are still debating whether or not he is gay. imagine me...as a guy. looking vaguely like colin farrell. much cuter than chuck norris (the guy from november). meh. we'll see. i still have to confirm that plan for sometime this weekend, and i haven't seen the movie that we want to see listed on fandango yet. :/
have i mentioned that i went veggie for lent? yesterday, my grandma (Mrs. Jack Daniels) had us over for brunch, which was waffles, but there was also sausage and bacon, and i had told her a week ago that i had given up the meat, and yet on sunday, she said, "M, do you want more sausage?" (like i'd had some the first go round), but i just sighed and said, "no", and then looked pathetically into the meat plate and wanted to cry.
