good and bad things
good: waking up and finding that i got tickets to the duke game. finding out that almost all my friends got tickets for the game as well. it is an embarrassment of riches.
(kind of) bad: trying to figure out how we can a) all be near each other and b) get as many of the tickets as possible for us and our friends, and c) how to get those friends in to the dean dome.
good: finishing my survey and posting it online
bad: having to actually email people in order to have it read and filled out. As in, makes me want to be violently ill, and it took a LONG time to actually press send on that first email, and quite a few of the others.
bad: realizing that i sent out half of the requests without an attachment i promised in the email.
good: realizing that librarians are nice people because i've had two responses in less than 1.5 hours after i sent the emails.
bad: realizing as I left that there was some sort of meeting with the science library people. as in, people with my jobs at the chemistry and math/physics libraries were there, and everyone else of importance. I ... was never told about this meeting.
good: realizing that perhaps it's about stuff for next year, and since i'm graduating...I don't need to be there. Maybe.
good: coming home and finding an email waiting for me from my unrequited-crush-friend-boy-person. :)
also good: getting my tax refund from the state of North Carolina (hurrah for filing early!)
VERY good: getting an email saying that I'm actually qualified for a job and will be part of the next level of consideration. HURRAH!
So, all in all, a good day. Plus, it's Thursday - my favorite night for tv. But yeah. I've nearly chewed off my lips with the stress today.
