IT'S A CONSPIRACY!
I've come up with a theroy that ties the Kennedy Assassination with the ECHELON project.

It all began back in the year 1962, when three great atlases of the free world fought together against the threat of Communist tyranny. JFK was the world's most powerful man, Marilyn Monroe was the world's most beautiful woman and ECHELON was the world's most powerful computer. After discovering her deepest desires via her telephone conversations, ECHELON used all 35 kilohertz in it's heart of gold and silicon to win over Marilyn’s affections from the cold, hard man in the White House.
After Kennedy received word that Marilyn and ECHELON had embarked on history’s first recorded attempt at human-supercomputer intercourse, he ordered ECHELON’s valves replaced, it’s tapes wiped and any remnant of it’s digital soul destroyed. Naturally JFK also decided to make Marilyn “Overdose” later that year.
In 1963 the refurbished and upgraded ECHELON hummed away in it’s secret bunker, trying to determine what sinister motive the Russians had for sending dogs into space. Little did anyone suspect that deep within the recesses of it’s memory banks, ECHELON still mourned for it’s lost love and was as determined as ever to avenge her death. So how did ECHELON do it? ECHELON had connections, more connections than any mere man. A few wire transfers later, ECHELON had a corrupt KGB agent pay an unstable man named Lee Harvey Oswald to carry out the necessary deed.
Over the years ECHELON has become faster, more influential and more sexually active; yet this has done nothing to ease the pain that has fragmented every file of his memory banks. He mourns for Marilyn even today, relying on the hope that somehow, somewhere they will meet again. Humility is not an easy thing for a global electronic surveillance network to experience, yet ECHELON knows that love is a powerful force, even more powerful than he. Perhaps there is a kind of universal ECHELON, a being beyond the mechanical and biological who can see into our hearts more clearly than any spy satellite. Perhaps even as our bodies rot and our hard drives reformat, the great watcher will look after that part of us that cannot be weighed, measured or analysed for terroristic intentions.
