Being Empty of desire is Happiness.
Return to your own Source and you are happy.
This is the trick of happiness.
---
"I" rises from the Source
like a wave rises from the Ocean.
Let this "I" arise and let everything belong to you.
"I" arises and becomes ego, ego becomes mind,
mind becomes senses, senses become the objects
of their respective senses.
All this is within you,
rising within you, within Consciousness.
You must Be Consciousness to see everything in Consciousness.
But you are in trouble because you think
that you are the body and mind
and this is the cause of suffering.
---
All of this Emptiness, you just play the game
of the dancer in it and let this game be played.
You can see yourself as individual or as Consciousness.
One is destruction and one is Peace. What more?
Stay as IS and See.
You don't have to control anything; don't desire anything to happen. You are the Space:
Everything is "I", everything is You,
everything is Itself and this is your Nature.
You don't have to do anything about it.
Keep things open and see now the Emptiness,
See the screen on which all is projected.
---
It is enough to cease your desire for the objects of the world. Through any of the senses you can get lost in the world. Fish die due to their sense of taste. Deer die due to their desire to hear certain sounds. Elephants are caught and killed by their sense of touch; they put an effigy of a female elephant on some bamboo which covers a pit then the male elephant comes to touch the image, falls into the pit and is trapped. A moth dies due to sight as it goes toward the flame.
The difficulties of being drawn by the senses can be overcome because the human being has discrimination and can foresee the results of his actions. Then they can choose to go towards Peace instead of suffering. The way that people have gone towards Peace for thousands of years is to go to the Guru for one instant of Satsang, ask their question, and have all of their doubts dissolved. Then only Moksham remained.
[I am trapped by my desire, and it is very deep. I feel Satori in one situation and I want it more. That wanting is temporary, and when I fill it I am calm and at peace. The world seems like a better place because it doesn't rub me the wrong way. Two are meant to be as One, and One is calm and happy.]
