(no subject)
So. It's official. RENT is now ... 10 years old. It was great singing those songs again, and singing them with everyone. Jesse and Wilson were *especially* cute and funny. Everyone was just ... it was just great. The way Adam sang last night was perfection, the way Anthony led us all through it was amazing. Idina was cutely messing up and was MAJORLY flirting with Taye.
Did someone yell out for Taye and Idina to kiss? Oh, and yes. Wilson can twirl *that* fast.
We did mess up here and there --- it's been a while and everyone didn't realy get to practice till early that morning ... we were at the Nederlander rehearsing most of the morning. Michael Greif just told us to go out there and do it --- muscle memory my a$$. I almost tripped going down the stairs *giggles*
I was nervous about it but ... it ended up being one hell of a show, didn't it?
Tommy was gracious enough to be there and celebrate with me/us and I stayed long enough at the after-party to end up going home ... drunk. Tommy left as soon as he saw me home and say "good night" to Luca, who I gave permission to stay up just for that night.
There will be a more substantial update once I am not drunk anymore. Yes.
