...when I discovered my Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban DVD was missing from its case:
1. If I'm missing a DVD, I am absolutely anal retentive enough to open up EVERY DVD IN MY HOUSE.
2. HP: PoA has apparently left my life, and taken Monty Python's Life of Brian with it.
3. I have two copies of some random films:
a) Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix
b) Eddie Izzard: Dress to Kill (two DVDs, three cases. Huh?)
c) The Scarlet Pimpernel (1935)
d) Master and Commander
e) King Arthur
f) Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone--but only of the DVDs. I only have one of the cases, and I'm missing both Special Features discs. Oy.
4. I'm really, really good about putting movies back in the proper cases. I didn't find ONE mistake. Missing ones, but no mix-ups.
5. Searching through DVDs for an hour gives you FILTHY fingers. Yuck!
6. I STILL DON'T HAVE MY MOVIE. Nor have I found the Star Wars original trilogy that went missing about a year ago.
7. I'm going to the old fallback: it was Darcy's fault. I don't know how, but I'm SURE she filched the DVD somehow. BOOOOOOO.
