Dear Valerie:
GRRR WTF YOU PIECE OF SHIT WHO ARE YOU???? WHY will you not let me write you? Every time I try to give you a scene, or exposition, or even a shot of your face, you're like....noooooooo, I need to make this MORE DIFFICULT for you! Thanks, you annoying arse!
And now, a list of things for which I am annoyed with you.
1. You're an ass to Myron. That's fine. I made you be mean to him, so he'd be scared enough to run. But I can't figure out WHY you're horrible to him.
2. You're such an ass, I'm worried you'll be an ass to your son. I LIKE your son. I think you'd like your son, too!
3. I can't figure out whether or not you kidnapped Cassie, or you're working together with her to try and find both of you a way back home.
4. You're my main villain, and since I'm leaning towards you being a pretty nice guy stuck in the wrong place at the very very very wrong time, you're a totally crappy villain.
5. I now have no antagonist, and I'm coming up on the conclusion. I somehow don't think that "Hey, it was just a misunderstanding! They're all friends now!" is going to be very interesting, and yet that's sort of what I want to happen. I blame you for this, since you insisted on being an okay guy.
6. You have a girl's name. And you're not girly. Either you should have a man's name, or I should get to put you in a dress and heels.
7. (Or, as I like to call it, the REAL PROBLEM) You've been mysterious for so long without any good reason that I'm finding it difficult to actually introduce you without it being a letdown. Thus, I've been stalling with stupid passages about your son walking around Belfast for like, five thousand words. I want to move the plot along, dammit!
8. Are you crushing on Cassie? I think you might be. You're such a frigging perv! She's your son's almost-girlfriend!
