Not your ordinary car showroom

Last Thursday, during a shoot for Urban Zone shoot, my jaw dropped. The setting of our shoot was the Lexus Manila showroom in Bonifacio Global City. Im not into cars at all. We weren't there to feature their beautiful cars. We were there because of their stunning three-storey building.

The ground floor showroom can fit about 9 Lexus cars. The upper floor is the "spa" (service centre) for Lexus cars. They have little meeting rooms that are slightly enclosed using vertical wooden slats. Lots of curves along the walls. The ceiling has curves showing the Lexus logo subliminally. The details were all extremely luxurious. The sales executives were all in well-fitted black suits (I was too shy to photograph them). Even the waiters were well dressed and they served the best espresso coffee. The inner courtyard (all indoors) was stunning.

See the line on the hill that seems to be created by a shadow on the greenery? (the following snapshots are from a 2 megapixel phone camera)

They used two different kind of shrubs/plants/foliage. Different tones of green. Brilliant.

This was at the air-conditioned and super luxurious receiving dock.

I just love all those vertical wooden slats. And the lighting.

These chairs rock... literally. Meet Crystal my makeup artist in UZ and Manny our Exec Producer.

The Lexus Manila showroom is at the Bonifacio Global City right behind MC Home Depot. Watch UZ the next couple of weeks to see the story of this beautiful building.
