UNICEF Special Advocate for Children
Celebrity supermom Daphne Oseña-Paez is a staunch advocate of breastfeeding. As UNICEF’s Special Advocate for Children in the Philippines, she helps educate moms all over the country about maternal health, mortality, and breastfeeding. In between advocacy work and tending to her family, Ms. Oseña-Paez also manages a furniture line, designs jewelry, and works as a TV host.
I'm not really crazy about online voting. But I do appreciate the time and effort you made towards the vote. There were excellent nominees in all the 10 categories. In Advocacy alone there are causes like social entrepreneurship, reproductive health and animal welfare. Please learn more about the other advocacies from the nomination page here. Who knows, you may find a cause close to your heart. It's never too late to make a difference and be involved.
