I read your blog everyday but nothing gets to me more than when you post about your family - whether it's about your kids or your siblings and parents. So when I read this post of yours about your sister, and how they were your biggest fans, etc., I couldn't help but nod in agreement and also tear up a bit.
Your sister stories pretty much mirror mine. Except that I have 3 older sisters, and also one kuya. I bet all my older sisters would definitely agree that a pesky little sister was definitely annoying and uncool. I remember being left behind and not being allowed to join games because I was such a nuisance. :P
I always think siblings make the best friends. My mom was close to her sisters up to the day she died. Even when they were already in their 50s and 60s, they still 'borrowed' each other's clothes, or had sleepovers (one of my aunts would always come to stay for a night or two). Someday, I hope I can do that with my Ates too.
Happy birthday to your sister, Hanni. She is lucky to have you and you are all definitely very blessed to be sisters. :)
