Everytime I post something on Instagram, I feel like I'm betraying Flickr. Even though my IG uploads are directly connected to my Flickr, they're completely different things. Iphone photography vs the classic (digital) process. The community is different too. I've cultivated friendships in Flickr over the past five years. IG is fleeting, instant, fast and usually a reaction from Twitter. But I love both. With IG I can post immediately, on the spot. It has made my daily photo journal a lot easier to do. It's very random - it ranges from lovely moments with my kids to bizarre things I see.
My girls with my nephew W.
My room scent.
Wearing my happiest shoes - the Viv Westwood x Melissa. This always makes people smile, including me. Oh and the K&Co jersey dress... I live in them.
That sculpture near NAIA3 that gets on my nerves.
The relic of St John Bosco, by the National Shrine near our place.
Stella with cousin A during a morning stroll.
That Friday night we took the kids to play in the carnival.
That day we had merienda - Me, Hanni, my dad and my mom. Trev was there too but he didn't have any hand accessories. This is from Hanni's Instagram.
My sister, Hanni, and I with our bracelets. We got these reminder bracelets. The silver ones are Links of London Sweetie.
Moving on from Instagram... baby Stella has her own Links Sweetie.
My sis Hanni and BIL Trevor gave it to her for her Christening.
With every special occasion, they send her a new Links charm. This round she got a "Daisy" after her name Margarita. She never wears the bracelet. It bothers her. But we treasure this charm bracelet. And when she's bigger, I'll just add links to them so that it expands.
The day after my sister went back home, I went on with my regular day. Took this picture. It was a sad sad day. I miss her very much.
Follow me on Instagram. I'm DaphneOP. And please "heart" my photos. Thanks!
