My new camera

Thanks for noticing my better photos. Some of you have been asking what camera I've been using a Ricoh GR Digital 3. It's so awesome, I've actually put my Leica DLux3 to rest for a while... and haven't found reason to take it out again. It took me a long time before I decided to buy this Ricoh model. I was choosing between this and a GXR. But along the way my Nikon D90 got fixed, so I figured I don't really need multiple lenses for a compact camera. Then I played with the GRD3 and just fell in love.

As photography lovers themselves, the developers focused all their passion and creative vision on the creation of a new lens of unprecedented power: the 28 mm/F1.9 GR Lens. If image quality is the priority, set a lower-than-ever ISO sensitivity. If capturing a shutter chance is the priority, set a higher-than-ever shutter speed. F1.9 expands the freedom and scope of your photographic expression.

Please do not expect a technical review from me. I will not even attempt. Just check my photos in Las Casas Filipinas de Acuzar, I used it there and I just stayed in the Automatic setting.

I like it because it's fast. It can take crisp shots if that's what you're after. And it also takes good atmospheric and textured photos. I fell in love as soon as I tried to take a macro shot of my popcorn.

My Ricoh GRD3 had to be ordered from Japan. There are local Ricoh dealers here. Best to check with GirlTeki if you're interested in checking it out.
