A big chunk of me...

And I'm back...

Still feeling a bit disconnected because a) we were gone so long, b) we had the most amazing time in Toronto, c) everyone here is still talking about politics, d) we are all so jetlagged (especially Lily who wakes up and stays awake at 2am) and e) a big chunk of me is left behind in my parents' house. Such is life when you have two homes/cities/countries. But on the bright side, we are so happy to be with PP again (must downplay the mushiness).

Over the weekend Toronto was headlining the news (side by side with the World Cup). Everything's been about the G20 hype downtown for the past weeks. The government spent 1.4 billion dollars in security in anticipation of worst case scenarios and threats to the leaders of the G20 nations. Still, rallies and hooliganism happened. Toronto establishments were smashed and vandalized by anti-capitalist s#it-disturbers. It was very annoying, to say the least.

My Toronto is peaceful, dynamic and really... all about world peace, LOL. Hope everything's back to normal by now.

I can't wait to be back blogging again. I've got lots of stories and photos to share so we've got lots to catch up on. Now to consolidate all my photos. They're all over the place.
