The Flip contest continues. And while I have no work today, except for dinner with my lawyer (work-related), I will catch up on some blog entries. I won't talk about the contest 'til Thursday night. i'm an old school maryknoller(maryknoll used to be the name of miriam) for 9 years and i relished my childhood in that campus. so many trees and fields. in the 80s, the place had more greenery since there were far fewer buildings. every time i drive by the campus now, there are more buildings and the campus is not as charming. i wish you saw it in the 80s, it was an amazing place to be a little girl :)

re: marian auditorium, that was renovated recently. in the 80s-90s, marian auditorium was very old - it had wooden chairs, not airconditioned and the backstage was a virtual horror house(i should know, i was active in theatre when i was in maryknoll/miriam grade school).

awwww. it's so nice to have good memories like that.

the auditorium - chairs are still wooden. and i like that. it's charming. quite uncomfortable, but its' better to keep them wood than plush because imagine the dirt on the upholstery after a few years?

Im from Miriam too! Feels nostalgic seeing its photos here on your blog :)
How cute naman the anecdote you shared about ex-pres Erap haha, it matters to him that he'd always look picture-perfect :)
