I'm on the cover of Wood Living Magazine. Sort of (again). What's with inset photos?

The photos were taken in November 2008, pre-Stella. Funny that it just came out now and Stella's turning 6 months in a few days. I was endorsing this wood brand until Dec 2008.

The photography is great. There are just inaccuracies in the article. The wood floors you see in the photo came from the Paez farm back in the mid-60's. They are not by Matwood. The house was built by Patrick's father in the mid-60's. We maintain the wood by waxing it and doing quarterly termite checks. After years of hitting and missing we've found a solution to termite control using a bait system. I don't know the name of the company. There was a time we had some termite damage and we replaced parts of the stairs with treated wood. But the bedroom floors are still the original tongue and groove wooden floors from the 1960's - I painted them white. Only the doors and closet floors are by Matwood.

I styled this little set up by shopping in our storage room. That red lamp is a work in progress. My husband made the shade. It's off scale. So I'm having it redone. I'll be putting a bigger (taller and wider) shade. I'm thinking purple. That's my 200 peso chaise lounge.

PS. If anyone knows anyone in WoodLiving magazine, please I'd appreciate some jpegs from the shoot. For my own file. My former contact probably changed her number by now. No response. Thanks!
