i saw the saddest thing i've ever seen in my life. the fastest way took two days to drive up the 5 north to san francisco (car troubles) was a first for me... i would much rather compensate time for the scenic 101, so i had never been able to see the trees part and see the thousands of acres seething of cattle, almost holocaust like. an unsettling feeling came over me and said to myself that's the saddest thing i've ever seen in my life. i had to write it down.
