But, well, there was certainly something to be said about the way that dress, simple and understated as it was, clung to all the right places and highlighted all the right spots-
"I generally try to avoid them, actually," Astoria said with as flippant a shrug as she could manage, subtly clearing her throat and tugging at a stray strand of hair.
"I had enough of these fancy things growing up. They lost their general appeal years ago."
Despite herself, Astoria threw a quick glance around the general crowd surrounding them, then gave that lock of hair a sharp wake-up of a tug before flipping it over her shoulder.
"Here with anyone?" she asked, as casually as she could, nothing like any kind of overly-curious interrogation or motive-loaded question, no of course not.
