first i want to say thanks to all of you who have been concerned and to apologize for being out of touch.

mom died a little over an hour ago.

i appreciate all the prayers and messages-- i think i have gotten them all.

i am planning to go to chicago, probably over the weekend, but i look forward to being back soon.
