Tidbits from my life...
First, Happy Birthday powrhug !
Now, what's been up in my life:
- I actually like my job now. My students are still motor mouths, but I finally bonded with my co-workers. I think the 3 day trip to Jekyll Island a week ago really helped out. It was a lot of fun!
- I'm moving. Just 15 minutes away, but still it's going to be a ton of work. The house is going to be put up for sale. If I decide to teach here next year, I'll go ahead and find an apartment. Until then, I stay where I am. Yes I feel like a loser staying with my parents, but I don't have much of a choice because of my cc debt. I need to pay a large amount before I get an apartment again.
- Sue moved to Indiana a few weeks ago. Things are really changing around here.
- Entered my sister and her family in the Extreme Home Makeover Edition. My niece has cerebral palsy, and I can't begin to explain how badly their house is ill-equiped for her. My other sisters and I stood in line to turn in the app. and essay for an hour and a half. So many needed people out there. It's amazing.
- I'm excited for afighter808. She had laser surgery to reduce the size of her stomach. I'm so proud of her for doing this! Good luck!
- duckityduck yesterday. It was good to see her again after so long. And she gave me a kickass early b'day gift. Thanks girl!
Off to pack and grade papers.
