"first day of my life"
Well, my big plan for this LJ is to start a daily journal with just all the crap that's on my mind so let's see how far I get. :D
*TODAY IS WEEK 33 DAY 1 OF PREGNANCY*
-Woke up this morning with a headache, tummy ache, & feeling very lethargic.
-Ate Mac'n'cheese for breakfast. Took me from 8 to 9:30am to eat it because of the morning sickness feeling. Blah.
-Talked with a guy about an application 13 times over the phone. That's no exaggeration. There was counting involved. Ha!
-Chelsea bought corn dogs, pickle chips, & HI C for lunch. Even though I said I wasn't hungry she made me a plate because she is really nice and likes to make me happy! Yeah!
-I went to push myself away form my desk to get a paper from the printer right behind me and my rolly chair decided to flip backwards! Oh my did it scare the crap out of me! Chelsea was standing at the little reception window and saw it and Roger heard it so they both came running. At this time I was like "woah...I think I'm ok but I'm going to just lie here". They got me up and I sat in a stationary chair shaking. I wasn't really worried about me much, it was Catalina I was worried about. But I think that maybe she thought it was just a carnival ride or something because she started doing flips in my tummy. Ha ha. Now, my entire right arm hurts along with my tail bone and tummy just a bit. I told Roger and Chelsea that I wouldn't be moving for the rest of the day. Lol! They agreed. That was one fun trip.
-Went back to work emails. People must think that I know everything about this business. I mean I know a lot because I have grown up in this line of work but things change. Oh well. I took 3 new shipments today AND got the bookers to pay for gas one way!!! WOOO!!!!
-Played a few games of Spider Solitaire while eating the food Chels made me.
-Mom called to talk to me about the baby shower Saturday. She found some neat little picture frames for 'thank you for coming' gifts. She also was looking at a couple of other things for the winners of the little games we'll be playing.
-Mom showed up at 3pm.
-Chelsea left at 3:09pm.
-I have so much to do at this point that I feel like jumping off a bridge...only because I have no clue how to do any of it. Heh, I guess this is where I get to do a TON of learning. And to think, it's right before I go out on maternity leave. Woo. I bet everything will change before I get back so I get to learn everything all over again. Rawr.
-Time to work now. Update later...maybe?
