Clover Point BACC - Spring 1 (Rice)
Hello again! Last time, I finally managed to open my first business, so I had 1 CAS available and I'm introducing a new household right now!
Meet Walter Rice, the newest resident of Clover Point. He's a Gemini (4/7/7/3/4) Fortune/Romance Sim and his LTW is to become a Business Tycoon. I will certainly try!
Walter's last name is in honor of Anne Rice, wonderful fantasy author, and is first name comes from the Anne of Green Gables series, as Anne has a son named Walter and he's just awesome! :)
This is his charming little house, that I found on Modthesims. Walt is really much luckier than Elisabeth!
The first person Walter met was Felicia Gast, the paper girl. They get along well.
Then he met Edward Lawson, who became his very first friend.
Elisabeth came with the Welcome Wagon, and yes, she's still supposed to be pregnant. Don't know what happened with the clothes there, but anyhow, Walter has two bolts with her. Too bad she's not the romance sim of her couple...
"I was thinking of opening a business."
"Oh yes! Great idea! My boyfriend and I own a Club. You should come by!"
"Definitely!"
Walter cooked his first meal, but no fire, alas...
Since Walt's house cost him almost all his savings, he turned to digging. He was quite succesful, to my surprise! He dig up a few maps, it helped!
Look at him heartfarting Elisabeth... This just won't do.
That evening, Walter decided to go to Dance Fever. He's an awesome dancer, don't you think? I mean, I would have so much fun if I saw someone dancing like that in real life!!! Oh, the mockery! ;)
Then, Walt met Carla Goldman. She wears a hat, so he liked her immediately, even with pink hair. Two bolts, people, I think we've found our Mrs. Rice!
She was quite taken with him, too.
The next day, their first date was a success.
Carla had so much fun that she left Walter a karaoke machine! Yay! We now have enough money to buy a business!
This is Fancy Pants, what will be a marvellous clothing store one day. I made this a clothing store so that my other sims are able to go buy new custom clothing when they age. So far, I've been lucky with the outfits, but we all know how horrible the Maxis transition can be... ;)
Walter got his bronze sales badge...
... but he is still so helpless with the cash register. *sigh* Not a good way to please customers, Walt...
But it doesn't matter, because Carle came for a second date that night and their relationship was evolving very nicely.
They woohooed for the first time... in the kitchen, because right now, it's the only room that fits a double bed. We'll have to make some more room next rotation.
Walter asked Carla to move in, she said yes, of course. And she brought with her $14K plus $450 of stuff in her inventory! Oh yeah! Walter really IS luckier than Elisabeth...
So I gave Carla a slight makeover, because the hat really was not doing it for me. She still wears one, because Walter loves it, tough. I think she's pretty, I really can't wait to see what the babies look like, squee! Anyhow, Carla is also a Gemini (4/7/8/3/3) Fortune sim, no wonder her and Walter get along so well! Her secondary aspiration is Pleasure and her LTW is to become the Law. We'll see if we're lucky enough to have burglaries...
"Carla, would you do me the honor of becoming my wife?"
"Yes! I love you, Walter!"

A quick wedding in the kitchen was perfectly fine with both of them. I at least took the time to get them dressed properly! Ha!
And with Carla's money, they were able to improve Fancy Pants, which is now at Rank 3.
And that is where we are stoping, folks! Next rotation, I'm hoping for a baby!
