Clover Point - A Kratz Family Update
Hello, fellow simmers!
Summer vacation means I've been able to play more and I'm even ahead! Woo! So, this is the first of a few chapters I'll try to post this week.
We're going back to the Kratz family. Last time, Bastian and Ivy took care of their business, Kr'Artz Supplies while raising their son, Davy. They also welcomed two daughters, Dora and Anne. Turns out Dora is a clone of her brother even if I hit the randomizer in CAS and it looks like Anne could be one, too... We'll find out soon. Bastian also tried to find a job in the slacker career to get closer to his LTW, but he wasn't lucky. Let's see if things got better this time around!
Here's the family,with Bastian holding Anne, Ivy, and Davy and Dora in the front, playing peek-a-boo. It might seem strange that all the children are blonde, but Ivy is actually a natural blonde who dies her hair because her husband likes it better black, and Bastian's dad, Hayden, was also a blonde.
They're also standing in front of their brand new house, let's take a closer look...
The Kratz family really needed more space, with three children, so they bought this beautiful house.
This is the front...
... ant the first floor, with a kitchen, dining room, bathroom, living room and office space...
... and the second floor with three bedrooms and two bathrooms.
I've tried to find who made this house, but it was on the exchange, so I can't find it anymore... All I know is that it's named 345 King Way, and it's beautiful! So, many thanks to the person, out there, who made it. I love it and it's perfect for the Kratz!
Davy really enjoys the playground that was added in the backyard :)
But Bastian felt it was time to get down to business and try to finally find a position in his dream field. Still no luck. This is driving him (and me!) insane!!
"Haha! Mom! Ha!"

"Hey there, little Anne! You're so cute, yes you are! Daddy loves you so much!"
And there you have little Dora who just loves playing with Mr. Bunnyhead.
They're a beautiful family, truly!
Since he had a few days off, Bastian went to the store on his own and brought it to rank 4.
Back home, Davy came back from school with his cousin Scarlett.
"Scar, do you know Mrs. Rice?"
"Sure, she's our neighbour from across the street."
"Oh, you're so lucky! I'm in love with her!"
"You are? Yeah, I guess she's nice, for an old lady..."
Inside, Bastian was serenading his wife. Scarlett didn't seem to enjoy the show...
"Davy! Davy! Where are you?! I wanna go play, I can't watch this!"
Davy was busy doing his homework ;)
"So, I was thinking... our children are doing so well... what would you say of adding another one to the family, Ivy?"
"Well, how about we let nature decide?"
"Sounds like a plan!"
And the very next morning...
Little Davy likes to draw on the activity table.
And Ivy got sick, again.
As you can see, she's wondering if her husband has gotten her pregnant... and I'm wondering why exactly she's not sure, since they've been together FOREVER and she's never even kissed another man.
More time at Kr'Artz Supplies for Bastian who got his silver cash register badge and brought the store to rank 5.
... while his wife threw up, AGAIN. This is going to be a looooong pregnancy. Poor Ivy. I bet she's regretting letting nature decide...
And then it was time for a triple birthday! That's right, Davy, Dora and Anne are both aging on the same day. That's why the whole family was invited over to celebrate.
Of course, there's no better place to smustle than the front porch, as we all know.

Anyway, so Anne here is a Gemini (2/10/10/7/6). And I have plans to differenciate her from her sister. She's not going to stay blonde. But it'll have to wait until her teenage years because dying the hair of a child is wrong.
As for Davy and Dora, they both grew up well, in not too horrible clothes...
Although, there is always room for amelioration! ;)
So, this is Davy's new look. He's officially a Fortune/Pleasure sim with a LTW to own 5 Top Businesses. How original...
I still like him, even if all of this is annoying the crap out of me.
After everyone was gone, Ivy got started on Anne's potty training.
But she had to run to the toilet, once again. She's really not having an easy fourth pregnancy.
And we have a first bump, although we all knew what was going on already.
That's right, Anne. Your Daddy made smart milk for you. Is it yummy?
And Bastian took his glowing girl and finished what Ivy had started. Anne is now potty trained, yay!
After school, Davy came home with his friend Tristen Wedland. She's really pretty, maybe they can be together... but she's also a blonde with brown eyes, so that wouldn't give much diversity.
In the dining room, Ivy was teaching Anne to walk.
"Okay, you can do it, baby. You're doing great."
As for Dora, it was her turn to play with cousin Scarlett.
Winter is really here now, and they had loads of fun playing in the snow.
Tristen stayed for a while and Davy and her enjoyed the hottub.
(I don't know if you can see, but Davy's the kind of guy who gets in there butt naked! Ha!)
"Tristen, I had a really fun time with you, today. You're great."
"Thanks, Davy. I think you're pretty awesome, too."
"Do you think... Can I... kiss you?"
"Why don't you try?"
And Davy got his very first kiss! :)
He's got one bolt with Tristen if you're wondering.
"There you go, baby girl! Mommy's really proud of you! Well done!"

Bastian tried again and finally, finally found a job in the slacker career. Huzzah!
He made sure to study so that he would get promoted quickly.
And then, he helped Dora with her homework.
"But, Daddy, why do I need to put the 1 on top? I don't understand."
"Well, you just need a good place to put the 1 so you don't forget it later."
"Oh, okay."
Bastian also helped Anne learn to talk, after giving her some smart milk, of course.
"Dada!"
"That's right, Anne, I'm your Dada!"
And then, it was time for his first day of work. He's really happy about it, too. Two thumbs up! Haha!
That day, Dora came back from school with another friend, Drake Bendett. They played until he had to go back home for his dinner.
Who got back with a promotion? Yup! Bastian did!
As for Davy, he saw Tristen again. He was beginning to like this kissing thing...
He also played with his little sister before going to bed.
Recognize that face? That's right, Ivy's about to give birth.
Don't look so suprised, Bastian. This is your FOURTH one. Geez.
And this is where we end this update, with the birth of what seems to be yet another clone. *sigh*
