Fangirling redux: Sungkyunkwan Scandal

It's very plain that I don't update in livejournal. Instead, I have been using my LJ ID to comment on other people's blogs. I think I'm much too undisciplined to post regularly my own content and I am happy to just participate in fandom through comments and things like that.
Basically, SUNGKYUNKWAN SCANDAL has overtaken my life. It is a beautiful time to be a korean drama fan. =)
I have seen many dramas since my last (of admittedly few) posts. I'd like to let you all know that Boys Before Flowers was a LETDOWN of epic proportions. It was a mess and I don't think I'll ever watch it again, nor recommend it to any of my drama curious friends. I still love Hanadan, but I think I'm over the fangirly phase of it.
SKK Scandal has completely swept me off my feet and it is truly shaping up to be my favorite drama of all time! It may not be a masterpiece like Resurrection or La Dolce Vita (both phenomenal), but man, SKK has completely captured my entire existence. My heart, mind and soul are completely in love with it and even if the last third of the drama slows down, I will forgive it all. =) I don't think it'll be something to worry about though, given how the show completely improves upon the previous week every single time.
So, if you see me around LJ and dramabeans, hello! Nice to meet you!
Goong was my favorite kdrama for sentimental and fangirly reasons. Even though I know it's not the best in terms of writing and acting, etc. I was at a stage in my life where I needed the kind of whimsy Goong/Princess Hours offered, and I threw myself into it completely. It was a complete world to dive into. Well, SKK has usurped that number 1 spot. It is now SKK at #1 for the foreseeable future. =)
I just really love the crossdressing trope. =)
