Fjcknit, redux. [aka, title pending]
I'm thinking of writing a book.
Yep, that's about it actually. For now anyway.
I'll post some specs of it later, or not, y'know, I could theoretically do it now, but damn am I tired.
To say the least, it's going to be a study on the effects of what I have termed "Social Canabalism"; in that each generation, and more specifically; each target group next in the consumer's comercialism food chain feeds on the next. The start and end of the chain, is inevitablly, the socalled mega-conglomerate "Evil-Empire" of the corporte world.
If all goes well in the planning stage, this should be a fairly in-depth study of the actual mentality and function of this behavior, rather than a green power, "use hemp, not hate" rant about the negative effects. But hey, I love to rant, so you never know, it may just turn out to be a personal responce out of spite.
Primarily, the focus will be as follows:
-What is meant by Social Canibalism
-Why and where it developes*
-Study of the origins [ie, Baby Boomers -> GenX -> GenY -> current "On Demand" generation)
-Employment meathods [ie. the CorporateCommercial Cycle and such topics]
-ect.
I can't say for sure the project time, but I'm assuming this will take anywhere from several months, to, perhaps, several years.
*I can't remember the term at the moment, but it's a phrase to describe how 90% of what we do is meant simply to satisfy us at the moment, and consequently leaves nothing for later. Think "coffee fix", along those lines. Or, y'know, sugar. That works too.
