KNES 119A (Beginner's Golf): Seems like it will be a fun class. I must confess that golf has more or less bored me in the past, but seeing as how I am a business major, golf will be a valuable tool for networking. Plus, some of my friends play it too, so this will allow me to go with them. The problem is when we start going to the course, I won't be able to wear sandals, but that's not too big of a deal...
MKTG 489 (Marketing Strategies): Professor Atwong is my teacher again, she is (I think) a good teacher. She seems to be a lot more fun then when i was in her 353 class, but that might just be because we were in a class where it's all familiar faces. It's my last business class I will take for my undergrad, and I want to make it count. Plus, the stuff I will be learning in this class seems very interesting to me.
VIET 102 (Basic Vietnamese): I thought they had a class for native vietnamese speakers already? So why is it that I am only one of four people that weren't actually born in Vietnam...plus, there are some old people that I'm pretty sure was born in Vietnam and lived there for a good portion of their lives, so why are they taking that class? Regardless, this class seems like it will be fun, and I was proud when my teacher complimented me on my Vietnamese. Personally, I think I was better at it than a good number of the kids (who were born in Vietnam), so that's cool. Other than that, I find it amusing that my Viet teacher speaks English better than some of my business teachers who were either Korean or Iranian.
ANTH 316 (Gender and Sexuality): Online course. Don't even have the book yet, so I haven't even taken a look at the damn thing. Hopefully, it'll be easy.
