i finally said 'i love you' last night.

but he was standing about one meter away, with his back turned to me, as he was talking to the bartender to get me and my company some drinks on him, and with booming loud music to drown my romantic plea.... :(

well, the problem with this scenario isn't really him not hearing it. i DID only meet him that night
