all my bags are packed...
i downloaded glee's 'leaving on a jet plane' some days earlier and put it on my 'lately' playlist. when it was beginning its opening chords, i had to skip it since a plethora of emotions just rushed in. i eventually deleted it from my ipod.
while most of my non-office friends pester me that it's just a 2-month thing, they probably don't understand what it means to someone overwhelmed with the change in my office dynamics.
i'm going to miss people.
ryan has been is my constant, constant rock in times of distress and not-so-distressful times, as well. it's actually something short of a miracle to find someone whom you can run to when you want to let out some steam about a burning topic, or you can call up because you saw someone was hot, hot, hot, or you can share deep personal issues with, or you can argue with regarding the definition of a 'good' movie/book/fashion/whatever, or you want to hear a scolding about something you did/didn't do or you can plan vacations and even your own future with. it doesn't surprise me that i've trusted ry with my life. i've always needed the 'external' push to get me somewhere, and ry has been constantly shoving me into bigger places and try out newer things. if it doesn't work out, heck, he'll be there to listen to the tale as well and declare it as 'epic fail so next please!'.... and we'll probably just wallow our sorrows or joys on some dessert in some starbucks branch somewhere in this planet.
although i am confident that our friendship has gone beyond the 4 corners of the office, i can't help but miss looking over my shoulder to find him there. it's going to be painful for a while, but at the back of my head and in my heart, there's a sure, steady grip on that friendship. and then, i'll feel good again.
and for all those things said (and all others unspoken), i am mighty grateful for deciding to leave nina behind that glorious sunday afternoon in bugis. that was probably one of the best choices i've made my entire life because it truly, significantly, undeniably and fabulously changed my world.

did i ever mention to you how efficient a waterproof eyeliner is?! i swear, greatest makeup invention to date. ry, if you're reading this, you better make one hell of a male-of-honor speech. :D
