Libra v Virgo

I recently learned about the Sidereal Calendar, which is used in the Vedic system of astrology, so it's also used in Ayurveda and Yoga. It has the same signs with the same meanings as our Tropical calendar, but it is shifted by about two weeks. My birthday is September 30, which makes me a Libra by the Tropical calendar, but a Virgo by the Sidereal calendar.
I feel like I have good and bad aspects of both libras and virgos. For Libras, I am diplomatic, see both sides of issues, am laid back and easygoing, imaginative, kind and affectionate, and am saddened when other people don't get along and are not nice to each other. On the other hand, I know that I can be terribly indecisive, as well as tending towards laziness, self-indulgence, and spacyness sometimes. I'm also very trusting, which can be both good and bad.
On the other hand, as a scientist and computer programmer, I have a lot of virgo traits as well, in that I'm intelligent, analytical, and orderly. And I have a tendency to sometimes be a perfectionist, and be hard on myself when I'm not up to my own unrealistically high standards.
I'm a little bit of a contradiction, in that I can be shy and introverted and reserved, but I'm also very friendly, and once you get me going, I can be very talkative and open. Really it depends on how comfortable I feel, and how well I can trust the people that I'm with.
How do you see me? I'm always curious how my self-image overlaps or doesn't with other people's image of myself. It can be hard to know how one is perceived by others. Do you think I'm more of a libra or more of a virgo?
