This past weekend, I learned, aside from other things, that all/ a large majority of ceiling fans have a button on them to change the direction the "paddles" swing; therefore creating a different air flow which may be more preferable after a seasonal change of temperature.

This is, perhaps, the craziest directional change since toilet flusing in Australia.
