bah. My driver's permit expires in a little more than two weeks and my classes are going to make setting an appointment a pain in the ass. =/
i'll probably just keep checking and get an appointment on a Saturday morning, which is the best I can do. This probably means I won't be allowed to drive at all for possibly even a few weeks. Damnit...
unfortunately, the permit is ultimately cheaper than a license, as insurance would be around 150-200 I believe. We're financially crunched as it is. I have no steady income, and my mom has no job.
oh yeah. That. Y'see, since my mom was working for over 10 years at DSI for Vista, they've been finding ways to get rid of her. This included not giving her a raise, cutting hours...nothing worked on her as she knew those bastards and bitches of her office would try this. So they outrightly fired her and basically lied about every reason. So yeah. She has no job and DSI's looking as a discriminatory lawsuit. Fun.
so I'm probably holding off on getting a license until the summer. possibly longer, though that would suck, but as said, I have no real job right now. Just my part time gig at metagame.com. I'm also behind on my column and need to catch up...currently my next paycheck should be 800 bucks, and I'm waiting on that too...
I somehow got through finals Thursday okay. I don't know my grades yet, and Japanese greatly concerns me. My Critical Writing teacher said I definetely am going to pass, so that's one class I can relax about. I struggled on the German film final, but the most that's going to do is bump me to a B/B+. shucks.
I completely scrubbed out of the Los Angeles Vs 10k. 5-5. 59th place out of 132 people. Damn that bites. I got some REALLY bad luck during about 5 rounds of the event, which seriously pissed me off. oh well. --;;
there's still the Yu-Gi-Oh Shonen Jump Championship at Pamona on April 2nd. I'll be trying for 1st place there, as 1st place is a Cyber-Stein. That sells for around 5-6k right now, and doesn't get taxed which is nice. Now I just need to win the event, and unlike the 10k which was 132 people. this one's probably going to be 400-500...=/
oh, and according to Dan's fetish knowledge test, I scored an 84% on perverse fetish knowledge. Always good to know.
