boys and girls,
i've decided to come clean. I've been living a lie, these past few months and i just don't know how else to tell you all. I'm sure some of you will be very shocked, and others might have known this was coming to me. eitherway, i love you all and you are still my family. but it's time to tell the truth. i have a problem. i'll admit it and i need help:
I go to a boring school.
there.
i said it. that wasn't so bad.
now, maybe, and i truly am hoping, that since the first semester isn't quite over yet, that i have been quick to judge. Perheps second semester will be better. who knows? i sure don't. But we shall see.
The problem?
well i am enjoying classes. i'm academically challenged, a bit too much sometimes in my opinion, but then again i am lazy. although now that i think about it, i dont really get homework. i just sort of dick around with nothing to do until all of a sudden i have three ballbustingly ginormous papers due at once. so that sucks. and apparently i got the hardest professor in the history department which might explain why i'm getting Bs on papers that i'd be getting As on at RHS. so maybe part of my dissapointment could be due to teachers. i do feel that its up to the teacher to create a stimulating atmosphere, not the material. so on that note, i'm defintely looking foward to 2nd semester seeing as i'm taking mostly history and lecture classes that i know i will do well in as long as i can tolerate the teacher.
social interaction at drew:
that's a whole other cup of tea. what is there to do at drew? well on any given thursday night you can play beer pong for free with a couple of seniors who no one really hangts out with in Hoyt hall, or you can pay 5 bucks to run around and do different shots in each room. so thats fun for like what, the first 3 times? yea so for me that was back in september. Your other options are a) getting drunk till you puke, b) getting high till you can't see your own hand in front of you c) getting drunk and high till you puke and can't stand up without holding on to the floor and can't see your own hand in front of you. oh and this is of course if you're willing to be stuffed into sweaty doubles and suites with about 50 or 60 other people. any nothing happens on friday nights. oh and half the school is from NJ and they all go home on the weekends. so.. yea.
another thing i don't like is the music involvement here. WHY is everyone such a tightass? there isn't even a public drumset on campus. There's no jazz band, except for a small ensemble that isn't very good and the chamber orchestra is just a bit be.
the food sucks.
what else can i complain about
its small. like high school small.
i dunno. we'll see
i'm looking at nyu.
and i dont really feel like ranting anymore
i kind of wish i had something to do tonight.
yea, that be really sweet.
like, actual plans.
man, i almost kind of miss that.
ok
NYU here i come ;)
