I know February has already started. I had this written down though and am only just now getting to type it up and save it for myself. There are a few repeats from last month: some of them we didn't get to because we chose to eat out or ate leftovers or cereal, some of them we really like so we are having them again.
Chicken and dressing
Taco soup
Crock-pot Fagioli and breadsticks (so good)
Fettuccine alfredo and garlic bread
sloppy joes
smothered porkchops
mexican lasagna
red beans and rice
meatloaf and mashed potatoes
mexican cornbread casserolle (x2 and one will go in the freezer
burgers and fries
baked ham rigatoni (x2 and one will go in the freezer)
pot roast, potatoes, carrots
tuna cakes
baked spaghetti (x2 and one will go in the freezer)
steak and baked potato
pig in a blanket
vegetable soup and sandwiches
stirfry
Dad's goulash
chili and cornbread
pancakes and eggs
white beans and cornbread
deconstructed chicken and broccoli (x2 and one will go in the freezer)
chicken fried rice
biscuits and gravy
stuffed sole and veggies
salmon loaf
tuna tater pie
meatball sandwiches
We always have vegetables of some variety or another with our meals, I just don't generally plan out what they are going to be. We also have a variety of fruits that we eat with our meals.
And yes I know there are more than 28 things listed, sometimes we eat one for lunch and one for dinner so I wanted some sort of a plan in place.
On Sundays we pick out seven things off the list we want to eat based on what we want to eat, what is on sale, and what I have in the pantry and deep freeze.
I'm not sure what all I am doing baking-wise this month. I have stuff for a couple different types of cookies I could make and I made a 7-up cake last? night, and lemon poppyseed muffins. I am thinking about making stuffed pancake cupcake-muffins too because we LOVE pancakes in this house and I could make a big batch and freeze, then we could just take them out when we wanted to eat them.
