What what?

Yesterday, one of our employees submitted a ticket complaining that http://apple.com was being blocked by our web filtering service. We all thought it was pretty strange, but sure enough, it was blocked for 'pornographic/adult content' (note that http://www.apple.com is NOT blocked and working just fine).

So, we submitted the site for review and got this response back:
The site hotclubsexxxx.com was added to our library in our update on 1/5/09. According to DNS, the domain is owned by Apple.com, and is using one of their IP addresses as well, which is what is causing the block. To correct the issue, we have released an emergency library update which is available for download now. I apologize for the inconvenience this has caused.

As I was relating this story to isaracer she noticed something funny about http://www.hotclubsexxxx.com (go ahead and click it, I promise there's no nsfw there)...

Weird, huh? Also - hilarious.
