Hiking
My husband and I have been hiking up the side of the mountain we live under so that he can get in shape for the elk hunt. We ride the 4 wheeler up to the base then start walking.
The other day when coming home (on the wheeler) we followed a trail someone else had made. A bit later we decided we couldn't get home that way so we turned around and there was a bull moose. Of course we stopped and got a picture or two with the cell phone camera then he started walking away and a cow moose came out of the trees we were parked by. No calf so we weren't to scared since she was right by us, but why take chances.
We turned around and went back the way we came. You know I still get a little thrill seeing deer (that are all over) but a moose? Made my day.
