montgomery, alabama is not the place to be in June
I'm coming to you from a computer in the Air University Library at Maxwell AFB in the lovely town of montgomery, alabama. And yes it is really hot and humid down here, and classes haven't even started yet. This first week has been all inprocessing: filling out paperwork, getting shots, listening to briefings and whatnot. So who knows what the actually school and classes are going to be like. I haven't even met my flight commander or anything yet, which may not be a good sign haha. But other than the heat everything is going alrite. The ride down here from PA wasn't too terrible, although we did hit bad traffic around washington d.c. and richmond, and then standstill traffic just outside of montgomery. And now my car needs a good washing to get all the splattered bugs off of it. I hope the next 6 weeks will be fun, but who knows. I can hope though. Hope everyone is having fun with their summer vacations that I only got 2 weeks of!
