So yeah, not I'm officially a 2nd Lieutenant in the United States Air Force. Do I feel any different? Maybe, but probably not that much until I actually arrive at my first base and I have enlisted members saluting me. That will feel kinda odd for a while I'm sure, to have people anywhere from my age to like in their 50's saluting me. And I also graduated from the University of Delaware, so I guess I should feel different because of that but I don't yet really. Maybe it will kick in later when I can tell people I'm a college alumni. And from now on I'll always be a veteran for the rest of my life, so that's pretty cool.
In other news, on Saturday afternoon, right after my graduation in the morning, I bought a brand new 2005 Mazda 6s hatchback. The color is called "Blazing Copper" and that pretty much describes it, its kinda an orangey copper color. But I think it looks cool. I got the black leather interior, heated seats, power drivers seat, sunroof, and Bose audio system. And I got a pretty good deal on it cuz Pacifico Mazda in the Philly Auto Mall is selling Mazda 6's for invoice, and I got $2000 off of that, $1500 incentive and $500 for being a college grad. I plan on modifying it some, but will probably hold off on that for a little while. The first thing I get will probably get will be the windows tinted, since that black leather is gonna get hot as hell in Alabama and San Antonio in the summer. When I go visit Mike in Georgia my car can hang out with its little brother, Mike's Mazda 3s.
Myrtle beach on Thursday should be fun. At least I hope. It could be not fun for a number of reasons which I will not delve into but I'm hoping it will be fun. Sea Isle was alright when i went down there yesterday and last night, but this bar we all went to was super crowded so that wasn't that fun. But the lead singer/keyboard player of this one band looked exactly like Steven Segal so that was funny. And the bass player was one of the creepiest dudes I've ever seen. He looked like he had been doing heroin for like 30 years, his face was all skinny and pale and sunken in and he was really skinny. And he had this 80's era Rod Stewart style haircut haha. But it was a family affair at that bar, it was me, my sister, her fiance Shawn, my cousin Mark, his mom (my aunt), my cousins Sara and Mike, and their mom (my other aunt), and then my mom came later on that night to pick some of us up. So that was kinda wierd drinking at a bar with my two aunts and my mom. But it was ok I guess.
Well that's pretty much it, I'm gonna have to start packing up my stuff soon for when i leave, plus I gotta move it all away from the windows cuz we're getting all new windows in our old crappy house.
